Basic Skills Necessary:

  • knit
  • purl
  • 2/2 LC: 2 over 2 Left CrossSlip next 2 stitches to cable needle and hold to front, k2, then k2 from cable needle.
  • 2/2 RC: 2 over 2 Right CrossSlip next 2 stitches to cable needle and hold to back, k2, then k2 from cable needle.

Pattern Description:

There's something special about the owls - I think it's their baby-wide eyes! It makes us happy to look at them.

I had a lots of fun designing this cute matching owls set.

Gauge:

17 sts and 24 rows in Stockinette Stitch = 4 inches/10 cm.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Woman's small/medium (medium/large, large/extra-large).
  • Hat: Circumference 18.25 (19.75, 21.25) inches.
  • Arm Warmers: 9.5 inches long, 6 (7, 8) inches in diameter unstretched.

Materials:

  • 5 oz Worsted Weight Yarn
  • Cable needle
  • Stitch marker

You Will Also Need:

  • Ten 3/8 inch buttons for eyes

Suggested yarn:

250 yards of Worsted weight
