This bag is knit in one piece in stockinette stitch and has a bind off/cast on treatment for the handles. This is a great take along project as you don't need to keep the pattern with you as you knit the body of the bag. It's also a great way to use up yarn in your stash. You can customize this bag as you wish with embellishments and you may also choose whether or not to line the bag.
Approximately 5 stitches per inch in stockinette with size 8 (5mm) needles.
350 yards of Worsted weight
My mom taught me to crochet and sew when I was a child. I learned to knit a few years ago. I have always enjoyed fiber arts as a hobby. Now I have started a new venture. I have an online store called World Village Fibers. My goal is to eventually open a shop in my hometown. Update: I'm very fortunate to have found a nice space for a small fiber arts shop/studio and plan to open in 2012!
