Women, Men, Boys

Skill Level:

advanced skill level requirement Expert

Basic Skills Necessary:

  • Intarsia in the Round
  • Kitchner Stitch

Pattern Description:

The Sochi Winter Olympics are almost here. I thought it would be great to support Team USA with these great Go For Gold Mittens.

Go For Gold is in the palms and USA is on the back of the Mittens.

Be careful making these in public you may be asked to make a pair for them too!

The pattern includes charts for the design and links to videos for doing Intarsia in the round as well as the Kitchner stitch. If you have done circular knitting and color working this would be a great project for you.

If you have never done either but are the adventurous sort, go for it and be patient.
