Basic Skills Necessary:
- cast on, knit, purl, k2tog decrease
- Note: 2 strands of light sport weight yarn held together as one can also be used as we did in our pictured model remember to double the yardage amounts if using 2 strands.
- Size 9 US / 5.5mm or size to obtain planned gauge: 16" circular for main body of hat; Set of double pointed needles for crown shaping
Pattern Description:
This roll-brim hat features a decorative Norwegian braid band. Made in luxury yarn, its softness will bring warmth and comfort to body and soul.
Gauge:
4 stitches per inch over stockinette stitch with main yarn (M)
Sizing / Finished Measurements:
- Adult small-medium with changes for large- extra large in the [ ] brackets. Finished hat circumference 20[22]" to fit head approximately 21 - 22[22.5 - 23.5]".
Materials:
- Worsted weight yarn: 110[125] yards of main color (M); 4 yards of contrast color (C)
