Pattern Description:

Nollie is a slouchy, extra soft, chunky looking hat, featuring a lacy diamond stitch pattern and a little peek out rolled brim.

The pattern includes two hat options, slight difference in gauge and the depth of the hat results in two different styles: a standard slouch newsboy/snowboarder hat and en extra slouchy Jamaican style cap. Both options have a brim decorated with a Button Tab.

Both charted and written directions are included in the pattern.

Gauge:

16-18 sts and 23-25 rnds rnds / 4" in lacy diamond stitch pattern on bigger needles, after blocking at rest

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • S(M, L) - child to large adult
  • To fit head circumference:19-20(21-23, 24-25)" or 48-51(53-58, 61-63.5)cm

Materials:

  • 170 - 230 yards bulky yarn
  • US 8 - 5.0 mm
  • US 10 - 6.0 mm

You Will Also Need:

  • stitch marker
  • tapestry needle
  • pins
  • 2 decorative buttons (approx 3/4" / 18-20mm)
  • 2 flat buttons (approx 0.5"/10-13mm, some tab options only)
  • thread in yarn color, sewing needle (some tab options only)
