The Blue Ridge Mountains form the backdrop for my home in Central Virginia. It’s a beautiful area and the surrounding countryside provides inspiration for many of my designs. The ever changing colors of the seasons remind me of the hand dyed yarns that I enjoy using in my designs.
I strive to create patterns that are fun to knit and easy to follow. I hope that you will enjoy knitting them as much as I have enjoyed designing them.
Night's Watch is a effortless one skein garter stitch triangle shawlette shown in Miss Babs Yummy 2-Ply in the Coffee Break colorway. I have included both charted and written instructions and the pattern is easy to memorize which makes this a perfect knit night project. I've included some fun Game of Thrones graphics and a few other surprises in the pattern layout that I hope you will enjoy.
With side to side construction Night's Watch is designed to work with any weight yarn and can easily be made larger by adding additional repeats before and after the center section.
With a simple cast on of just three stitches and only one stitch to bind off, this fun shawlette has enough interest to keep your attention without being overly complicated.
