Night Jasmine Lace Hat is a delightful, easy to knit, 1 skein, quick project. It gives the look of intricate, complex lace patternwork while being deceptively simple to knit. The pattern as written will fit most teen to adult sizes using less than 50 grams of sport weight yarn. Your gauge will make a difference in the amount of yarn required. Adjustments to fit can easily be made by changing needle size for minor adjustments and adding or subtracting repeats for major changes. Once again this may change the amount of yarn needed.
24 rows x 24 stitches over 4 inches in stockinette
180 yards of Sport weight

I learned to knit as a young girl but never advanced past knitting garter stitch squares. I did not knit another stitch for nearly 40 years. One day I awoke with the urge to knit something, anything. I chose to knit a 7 foot long feather & fan lace afghan using a "how to knit" pamphlet. I was hooked. I found a local yarn store and began to experiment with yarns and patterns. I took classes whenever I could. The Craftsy forum has been wonderful for me. I love taking classes and trying new techniques from the comfort of my home. I have happily become a fiber addict. I knit and weave. I am learning to spin and crochet. I am now entering the realm of designing. I hope you enjoy my patterns.
