Basic Skills Necessary:

  • increases, decreases, knitting in the round, picking up stitches

Pattern Description:

Let the Feast of a Thousand Hams begin!

Make your own Nibbler Hat or Leela Eye (both patterns included) for Halloween or any occasion that requires a little extra awesome.

Pardon the crappy pictures - my little Nibbloian happens to hate wearing anything I create for her.


-You will need #5 (3.75mm) DPNs, #8 (5mm) DPNs & 16in (40cm) circulars

-The Nibbler Hat is available in 3 sizes - toddler/child, teen/small-headed adult, and large-headed adult.

-The Leela Eye is available in adult, one-size.

-The Eye is made using a small amount of scrap yarn in White & Black, and the Hat takes well under a typical skein of worsted weight yarn in Black, White, and Beige.


8.5 stitches and 14 rows = 2 inches in Stockinette in the round

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • toddler/child, teen/small-headed adult, large-headed adult, adult one-size


  • Size US 5 (3.75 mm) DPNs & US 8 (5.0 mm) DPNs and 16 in (40cm) circular

You Will Also Need:

  • Tapestry needle, scrap yarn

Suggested yarn:

200 yards of Worsted weight
