I wanted to design a knit newsboy hat that had a decorative brim and a slightly slouchy look. This is so easy to knit!

Uses super bulky yarn that creates the perfect look for this comfy & stylish hat!
Knit up in one evening, wear the next day. Very soft and comfortable.

Sized for teens & adults 20"-23" head circumference.

Gauge:

10 stitches and 14 rows = 4 inches in stockinette stitch

Materials:

  • 108 yards (98 meters) super bulky weight yarn
  • US 13 (9.00mm) circular knitting needles - 16"(41cm) length)
  • US 13 (9.00mm) DPN (double pointed needles) for decreasing
  • US 11 (8.00mm) pair of straight needles

  • 2 decorative buttons
  • row counter
  • stitch marker
  • tapestry needle
