Nazca mittens are worked using traditional colorwork stranded techniques. They have a side thumb gusset. The motifs on these mittens were inspired by figures on a textile from the Nazca civilization of ancient Peru. The design on the front of the mitten is reversed on the back. The pattern contains charts, photos and written instructions.
