Basic Skills Necessary:

  • cast on
  • bind off
  • knit stitch
  • purl stitch
  • short rows - explained in pattern
  • knitting in the round

Pattern Description:

The Nashville Hipster Bag is a fun, feminine bag that compliments your little black dress and patent leather pumps to jeans and cowgirl boots to shorts and flip-flops.
It is the perfect size to hold essentials: lipstick, cell phone, iPod, wallet, make-up and more. You can tuck it into a larger tote when you go to work, or diaper bag if you're a busy mom. Take it out when you are ready to go to lunch, run into the store or out after work and not have to bring your huge tote.
The Nashville Hipster Bag can be made with a felted strap or a fabric strap. It is a fun bag to knit and wear.

Pattern includes lots of pictures and complete instructions for felting your knitted bag in the washing machine.
