Pattern Description:

A charming, modern design, this hat is a sweet basic for cool weather. Circle design is worked Fair Isle style. The hat is knit in the round and topped with a pom pom. Sizing for hat implies stretching for a snug fit; size up if you prefer a looser fitting cap. Check out the matching Mod Circle Pants for infants (pattern sold separately)!

Gauge:

16 sts and 22 rows per 4 inches in stockinette using size 9 needles

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Size: 0-6 months(6-12 months, Toddler, Child, Adult Small, Adult Large); Finished Circumference: 13.5(15,16.5, 18, 19.5, 21) inches; To Fit: 15.5(17, 18.5, 20, 21.5, 23) inches

Materials:

  • 50(60,70, 80, 90, 100) yards MC, and 20(25, 30, 35, 40, 45) yards CC worsted weight yarn

You Will Also Need:

  • Size 8(5mm) and size 9(5.5mm) 16" circular needles and set of 5 DPNs, stitch markers
