Pattern Description:
This reversible hat and cowl pattern is easier than it looks: there are no cables! The design is formed with increases and decreases. It looks great with either side out.
The pattern is both written and charted.
Gauge:
21sts/24rows in 4"/10cm mock cable pattern
Sizing / Finished Measurements:
- adult hat: 17.5" around, 8" tall (unstretched)
- baby/toddler hat: 14.5" around, 7" tall (unstretched)
- cowl: 20" around, 8.25" tall (unstretched)
Materials:
- adult hat: 100-150yds/91-137m worsted weight yarn
- baby/toddler had: 70-85yds/64-78m worsted weight yarn
- cowl: 150-200yds/137-183m worsted weight yarn
You Will Also Need:
- US7/4.5mm needles (circular or straight) or size needed for gauge
- darning needle
- stitch markers

I'm a lifelong crafter, but settled on knitting in university when I wanted sweaters but couldn't afford to buy them. My first knitting love was lace. I'm sure I'll keep returning to lace, but there are so many other fun techniques to explore as well!
