Pattern Description:
A superfast girly knit with two ears, a snout and a curly tail! Hat is worked in the round; ears are worked separately on double pointed needles as part of the decrease. Snout and tail are knit separately and stitched on. Bows are constructed with a crocheted chain. Sizing implies stretching for a snug fit; size up if you prefer a looser fitting cap.
Gauge:
17 sts and 25 rows per 4 inches in stockinette
Sizing / Finished Measurements:
- Size: Preemie/Newborn(0-6 months, 6-12 months, Toddler, Child); Finished Measurements: 11.5(13.25, 14.75, 16.5, 18) inches
Materials:
- 75(100, 115, 135, 155,) yards heavy worsted or aran weight yarn; very small scrap of black yarn for eyes
You Will Also Need:
- Size 8 (5 mm) 16" circular needles and set of 5 DPNs, stitch marker, crochet hook; Other: 5" wire twist or pipe cleaner for tail, extra for ears if desired
