Pattern Description:
Made these cute Mermaid socks for my mother.
They got their name because the little two needle cable looks like (fish) mermaid scale/mermaid fishtail and the colour also gives this impression.
Enjoy and happy knitting!
The socks are toe-up with a short row heel in size 38/39 (one size).
But notes for other sizes are included.
Gauge:
1 x 1 inch: 8 stitches and 9 rows (64 stitches, 2.5 mm needles)
Sizing / Finished Measurements:
- Foot size 38/39 (European size)
Materials:
- 5 double pointed needles 2.5 mm
- 100 g of 4-ply sock yarn
You Will Also Need:
- tapestry needle to weave in the ends
Suggested yarn:
425 meters of Fingering weight
