Basic Skills Necessary:

  • long tail cast on
  • knit in the round on double-pointed needles
  • work basic in- and decreases
  • make i-cords

Pattern Description:

These smart and stylish gloves are perfect for the military trend we(tm)re still seeing on the high street this season.
A little daily taste of luxury, they use a gorgeous silk and merino blend yarn, which combines warmth with softness. The i-cord froggings and silver buttons are a fabulous final flourish, so get rummaging in your button jar!

Gauge:

28 sts and 38 rows in stockinette stitch = 10 cm

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 6-8 years (8 years, - women's size: S, M, L)

Materials:

  • 1 set of US size 1.5 / 2.5 mm DPN
  • 1 US size 0 / 2 mm DPN for picking up hem sts

  • 2 large stitch holders or waste yarn
  • 16 (20, 20, 20) buttons (15 mm)
  • tapestry needle
  • sewing needle and matching thread
