Basic Skills Necessary:

  • cast on

Pattern Description:

Interwoven cables criss-cross on the surface of this slouchy hat. The stitch pattern is both written and charted, and neatly decreases at the crown, creating a fractal design reminiscent of circular mandala patterns. Choose a size that is about 2" larger than your head for a slouchy silhouette - the band will keep the hat snug on your head.

4" = 27.5 sts and 28 rounds in Crossed Cables Stitch on larger needles
Note: yarns shown usually knit at 25-32 sts to 4" in Stocking Stitch
