Love Nature is a simple, classic cowl designed as a stand alone piece or as a companion to the Ngahere slouch beanie.
My children and I love spending every day exploring our natural surrounds. I wanted to reflect the beauty, strength and delicacy of nature represented by the interwoven leaves and lace, to embody the "wairua o te ngahere", the spirit of the forest.
Love Nature is written as a close fit cowl, knit in the round from the bottom upwards. An interwoven leaf and lace panel travels from the garter stitch edge, through the stocking stitch body to the top.
The pattern is written for 4ply/fingering, 8ply/DK weight and 10ply/worsted weight yarn and is in child - adult sizing.
You will need to know how to knit lace. If you do not know how to do this you may need to reference a knitting book or online tutorial.
