Pattern Description:

Named for a street near my home in lower Manhattan, Lispenard is a long cowl that combines cables and lace. The cowl is worked in one piece, with button bands on either end to join the cowl.

The beautiful texture of the Fibre Company Acadia yarn adds visual interest without detracting from the rich combination of stitch patterns.

Gauge:

20 sts & 25 rows = 4"/10cm in Lispenard pattern- blocked, always take the time to check gauge

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • One size - 13"/33cm wide by 61"/ 155cm long (unbuttoned)

Materials:

  • The Fibre Company Acadia, 60% Merino Wool, 20% Baby Alpaca, 20% Silk; 145 yards/132.5m per 50g skein, color: Maple, 5 skeins, US 9 / 5.5mm Needles or size to obtain gauge

You Will Also Need:

  • 6 stitch markers, cable needle, tapestry needle, 6 - 3/4"/19mm buttons
