Pattern Description:

This pair of long guanlet style fingerless gloves is a perfect use of a single fabulous skein of handdyed yarn. The pattern uses a simple 2 row repeat stitch pattern, which beautifully take advantage of the handdyed and kettle dyed properties of the yarn. Add a few of your cherished vintage buttons from your button box (mix and match) and you have a style all your own.


26 sts = 4" in pattern in the round

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Cowl: 18" circumference & 8" long
  • Mitts: 7" hand circumference & 9" long


  • Worsted weight yarn: approx. 440 yards
  • Needle: US 8 (5.0 mm); 16" circular and dpn

You Will Also Need:

  • 8 (3/4") buttons
  • Stitch Markers
  • Tapestry needle
