Basic Skills Necessary:

  • decreasing, kitchener (grafting)

Pattern Description:

Once the autumn comes to beach towns, a peace settles on them. The light and water seem to take on a subtly different quality at this time of year. This shawl was inspired by an early November trip to the beautiful village of Hyannis on Cape Cod.

Gauge:

Work 16 sts and 22 rows (blocked) in stockinette stitch to measure 4x4" (10x10 cm)

Materials:

  • US 6 / 4mm needles
