No more out of shape ultra stretchy straps! Essential fashionable mesh beach bag, with sturdy, contouring shoulder straps that will stretch less and keep their shape well and make a great cross body / shoulder bag that fits everything in. This will be better than your average mesh bag as a result.
When following or trying beach bag patterns previously, I've been perplexed that the straps wear very stretchy and get out of shape very easily. This also puts stress on the join areas around the strap and pulls the whole bag long and out of shape. To counter that, I've shaped the straps to have a wide base to give the bag better strength and construction. I also like the aesthetic appeal a little better. This has the added benefit that it to contours to your body without gaping as much, meaning your contents are more secure.
Contouring straps, mean less stretch and stress on strap/bag join areas for better quality and durability
X body shaping, means more secure for valuables as bag opening does not drape open
100% cotton materials: keeps shape.
Machine washable, dry flat over night or machine dryer on low heat.
Add a clear vinyl lining to keep wet garments (extra cost)
380 yards of Worsted weight

A creative Brit living in Colorado, I've been knitting since 7 years old. I crochet, draw, paint, craft, remodel houses and anything else that gets my fickle attention! Knitting, is very therapeutic to me, it slows me down and centers me. I started creating my own patterns in 2011, just, well because and was amazed they sold on etsy. It was just a fun little hobby that earned me some holiday andf yarn money that year. But, I got hooked (no pun intended!) and really love the creative process, combining stitches for textures along with combined with the math calulation. Sometimes designs will just come to me when I see a certain style someone is wearing and think about what would look nice in a neckline. Sometimes I find an interesting stitch technique and fabric and imagine a design in it. Sometimes it takes many weeks and trial and errors to work something out. I can't tell you how many times I start, get 1/2 way and then pull it out and start again! I think my mix of creative and methodical is due to being ambidextrous - I'm left handed but knit right handed, along with many things I do in life.
I knit English style, I learned to speed knit from my great aunt by tucking my right needle under my right arm and let my left / dominant hand do the work. It allows me to work fast while getting great, even tension throughout the project.
I've owned my own knitting shop in the past, but now knit for fun and design easy, practical, wearable knitwear that a beginner or experienced beginner can work. I currently sell my patterns on Etsy.com, Ravelry.com and here. One day, I hope to run a blog and add video instruction to my patterns; but like many, time prohibits. Until then, they are written instructions and charts.
I'm always willing to help my customers with any questions and welcome feedback to improve or add patterns that customers suggest.
