Leaf Cradling Cables Scarf
Leaf Cradling Cables Scarf

Basic Skills Necessary:

  • Know how to work cables, yarn overs, Kitchener stitch, know how to change colors,

Pattern Description:

My passion for nature manifests itself in my knitting designs where the simple leaf symbolises the need for care and protection. I continue to be inspired by nature's creations, by conjuring designs that signify the need to protect the earth. The scarf with its cables tenderly cradling the leaves reflect my concern for the environment.
Using the intarsia method of knitting, the two tails of the scarf are worked separately to look identical and joined in the middle with ribbing and Kitchener stitch.
