Basic Skills Necessary:

  • Techniques Used: Cable CO, knit/purl, knitting in the round, increasing/decreasing.
  • Experience Level: Adventurous Beginner.

Pattern Description:

Fingerless mitts with stretchy, mirrored ribbed cables along the back of the hand.


Gauge: 20 st and 30 rows/4" in stockinette stitch.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Size: Small/Medium (Medium/Large); to fit approximately 8 (9)" palm circumference.


  • Yarn: Malabrigo Merino Worsted (100% merino wool, 210 yards); 1 skein. Size S/M shown in Azul Bolita.

You Will Also Need:

  • Other Materials: US 8 DPNs or 32" circular needle if using Magic Loop, or size to match gauge. Cable needle. Stitch markers (3). Yarn needle. Scrap yarn or holder for thumb.
