Pattern Description:

Another happy Easter and spring beanie idea.
There is a band of two small different lambs (one sitting, one standing) all around this beanie accompanied by a fence and flower peerie pattern. At the top is a big daisy flower.

I knit this beanie completeley with 4-ply sock yarn.
But you can also use Acrylic yarn of similar weight.
For bigger sizes you can knit it with bigger needle size or 5-ply yarn (e.g. Buttinette Madeleine Merino) or both.

Gauge:

Knitting gauge in stranded pattern: 1 x 1 inch: 8 stitches and 9 rows (2 x 2 cm: 7 stitches and 8
rows).

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

about 52 - 56 cm head circumreference (depending on gauge , needle size and yarn)
For bigger heads use needle size 3.25 mm or 3.5 mm or 5-ply yarn (e.g. Wollbutt Buttinette Madeleine Merino 150m/50g knitting gauge 30 rows and 23 stitches 10 x 10 cm in knitted stitches or similar) or both.

Materials:

You need (4-ply sock yarn yardage 209 " 210 m/50g): 35g dark green, 30 g of off-white, 25 g of grass green, 20 g of blue and 20 g of yellow 4-ply sock yarn.
Circular needle 40 cm 3.00 mm and 5 double pointed needles size 3.00 mm for the top of the head.
Tapestry needle to weave in the ends.
Or Acrylic yarn of similar weight
