This pretty scarf uses only one 50g ball of yarn and one easy lace pattern.
Pattern includes written and charted directions, as well as instructions for steam-blocking the scarf in order to discourage the edges from curling.
The scarf in the photo was knit using Patons Lacette which has been discontinued. The new Patons Lace is very similar and one 100g ball of Patons Lace will make two scarves!
One lace repeat (18 stitches x 10 rows) to 2.5" wide x 1.5" long (6 cm wide x 4 cm long)
I learned to knit in 2001 while recovering from an illness and quickly began modifying patterns and then designing my own garments.
My designs have since been seen in Knitty, Petite Purls, Knitscene, and on Boing-Boing.
I started designing cross-stitch patterns when I couldn't find patterns that were the right mix of traditional and sarcastic.
