Married, mother of 3 boys. I have been crocheting, knitting and sewing for over 25 years. I love to be creative and design new patterns. I make most of my own clothing and have 3 sewing machines and a dedicated craft/sewing room. I also have an etsy shop http://www.etsy.com/shop/KimberleesKorner

I designed this pattern because I love knitting lace and wanted to combine it with some garter (knit) rows. I also wanted to design a wrap that incorporated a solid color yarn with a multi color yarn. This pattern is for an advanced beginner to intermediate who wants to do more than just knit. This pattern involves a lace section that you will need to know how to knit, purl, yarn over and purl 2 stitches together. I have included a table in this pattern to make it easy to keep track of what row you are on.
The yarn I used for this pattern was Caron Simply Soft for the solid color and Hobby Lobby I Love this Yarn for the multi color print. You will need 1 skein of each. The wrap is knit on size US 11 needles and works up quickly - I used straight needles but circular could also be used if you prefer.
I like the versatility of this wrap-shawl as it can be worn a few different ways and you can also wrap it around and wear it as a circular scarf - it has a really pretty drape when worn that way.
You may sell any finished items made from my pattern but not the pattern.
