Pattern Description:

I wanted a style that was part slouchy hat, part lace.
This beret uses very simple lace patterns with a 3 stitch cable that swirls around the crown to the purled button on the top.
If desired, you can keep going with the crown rows to make it longer for more sag style.

Gauge:

20 sts = 4" in stockinette stitch knit flat.

Materials:

  • 100gr/210yds of a worsted wt. yarn.
  • Plymouth Select Worsted Merino Superwash, 100 gr/ 218 yds, 1 skein. Dolce, by Cascade Yarns, 55% Alpaca, 23% wool, 22% Silk, 50 gr/ 109 yds, 2 skeins.
  • 1 16" circular and 1 set double pointed in US8, depending on your gauge.
