I - like most of you on here I guess - am obsessed with knitting and crocheting, and have been since I was about 5 years old. My dear mum taught me well and I have never lost the bug. I have designed and sold items at craft fairs for a few years, and am now adding some designs online. Enjoy !!!
NOTE - I also work as a pattern checker/proofreader for some major craft book publishing companies. I am happy to check any of your written knitting or crochet pattern for mistakes, and advise on style, before you publish. Please contact me for details.
This is soft, wispy, lightweight scarf that makes a real statement!
It is very easy to make using garter stitch only. Large needles and differently textured yarns are used to create the dramatic look.
After knitting the scarf can be lightly felted in any washing machine to give the wispy, ethereal effect along the sides.
The pattern includes full instructions. Gauge is not critical to this project.
The main yarn used here is Rowan Kidsilk Haze but any fine mohair yarn can be used. The other yarns can be any leftovers from your stash.
Not important :)
