Pattern Description:

Designed by Kate Gagnon Osborn and knit out of Acadia in Wild Onion + Maple, this slightly slouchy striped hat features a deep 2 x 2 ribbing and joggless stripes.

Gauge:

23 sts + 32 rows = 4" in StSt on Size US 5 needles after blocking.
*It is imperative you check gauge. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain gauge.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 22" circumference + 8.75" height

Materials:

  • The Fibre Company Acadia, 60% Merino, 20% Alpaca + 20% Silk. 149 yds/50 gms per skein. Shown in Wild Onion (MC) and Amber (CC), 1 skein each.

You Will Also Need:

  • 1 - 16" Size US 3 (3.5mm) circular needle
  • 1 - 16" Size US 5 (3.75mm) circular needle and set dpns.
  • Tapestry needle
  • Stitch marker
