Basic Skills Necessary:

  • Yo, ssk, k2tog
  • Applied I-cord

Pattern Description:

This beautiful shawl is worked in a very simple lace pattern worked in two colors which creates a harmonious look. To hide the color change at the edges, an applied I-cord has been added. A Shark Tooth edging in both colors creates a whimsical look.

This pattern is part of a collection of six designs. 50% of the proceeds, after expenses, will be donated to Brain Cancer research at UCSF (University of California, San Francisco) in memory of my sister who lost her battle with the disease in July 2012.


Gauge is not important for this project

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Approx. 24" (61 cm) X 47" (119 cm) without edging


  • 1632 yards DK weight yarn
  • Knitting needles US size 7 (4.5 mm)
  • 2 double pointed needles US size 7 (4.5 mm)
