Pattern Description:

Juego is a center out, top down, bi-color shawl worked seamlessly in sections with a reversible cable edging. The pattern contains links to 7 unique videos that help immensely with the techniques used in the pattern!

Juego was my Spring 2013 Mystery KAL, Mystery Knit A Long's are always a blast to work on as they engender a fabulous sense of community and help expand those knitting skills. I think many of the people who have already finished their Juego's might not have even attempted it had they seen the finished photo first. This puppy was packed with technique!

I knit my Juego in SpaceCadetCreations Celeste Five Rings and Feather, it was my first time working with this yarn, and it won't be my last.... it handled the beads and bloomed beautifully when blocked!


22 sts x 28 rows= 4 inches in st st, blocked


  • Set of 5 US size 5 [3.75 mm] double pointed needles, or size needed to obtain gauge
  • US size 5 [3.75 mm] 24 inch circular needle, or size needed to obtain gauge
  • US size 5 [3.75 mm] 40 inch circular needle or longer, or size needed to obtain gauge
  • Tapestry needle
  • Scrap fingering weight yarn
  • 4 stitch markers
  • Removable stitch marker or safety pin

You Will Also Need:

  • Approx. 40 grams size 8/0 glass seed beads
  • Dental floss threader (for threading beads onto yarn)
  • Cable needle

Suggested yarn:

900 yards of Fingering weight
