Basic Skills Necessary:

  • Cast On
  • Knit
  • Decrease
  • psso
  • Bind Off
  • Knitting with 2 strands of yarn held together

Pattern Description:

My very first design and my most popular. A felted clutch bag that is quick to knit, easy to felt and almost mistake proof.
Knitted in garter stitch with 2 strands of yarn held together on Size 15 needles, felted in the washing machine (felting instruction is included), simple side seaming...doesn't get much easier than that.
Using merino woolen fibers you can create endless color combinations.
Make for yourself or for others...what a great gift.


2.5 sts = 1 inch Size 15 needles

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 7" wide X 5" high closed clutch bag


  • 55yds worsted weight 100% wool for flower
  • 17yds worsted weight 100% wool for leaves
  • 1-2 skeins worsted weight 100% wool for clutch bag
  • Size 15 straight needles for clutch bag
  • Size 11 straight needles for flower and leaves

You Will Also Need:

  • Magnetic Closure

Suggested yarn:

300 yards of Worsted weight
