Pattern Description:

I fell in love with entrelac as soon as I tried it. My first project was actually an entrelac hat in the round that I wear all the time. After many people asked me for the pattern I decided that it was time to write it so others can make their own awesome hat!

This pattern is for a beanie or slouchy version of this hat.

Version 2 is a fully updated version including designer tips AND a full color diagram of the body of the hat.

Gauge:

Gauge: 8 rows & 5 sts = 1" in St st

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Size: XS (S, M, L) shown in slouchy L Finished Head Circumference: 18 (20, 22, 24)" NOTE: Slouchy hat is REALLY SLOUCHY!

Materials:

  • Yarn: Worsted weight yarn. Shown in: Cascade 220 Wool (100% Peruvian highland wool; 220 yds 201 m/100 g)1 hank ea color.
  • Needles: US 8/ 5mm, 16", five US 8/5, DPN's; or size to obtain correct gauge

  • Notions: stitch markers, tapestry needle
