My grandmothers were the reason I love hand-work and crafts so much. As soon as I was able to manage a needle and thread, they gave me craft-related responsibilities abound. My earliest crafting photo is me at 5 years old sitting atop a table making a foam cake base in deep concentration, craft glue in one hand and crepe paper in the other.
