As a freelance copy editor and transcriptionist (and a student again as well!), I happily work for myself from home, which generally allows me to knit and craft and create when the mood strikes.
For me, knitting and crocheting has evolved from a hobby to an all-consuming passion (some would say obsession). Inspiration for my designs is drawn from all over the place, including past travels -- from Turkey to Kyrgyzstan and many places in between.

Old Hollywood meets twining vine in this hat and sleeve combo. The cloche-style hat has a slouchy, roomy fit with an art deco accent of a spiralling brim. The matching sleeves employ the same spiral accent and coil their way up your arms. The hat can be knit in two sizes, S-M or M-L, while the sleeves are size-adjustable as you go.
Two 5oz skeins of worsted weight yarn are required to make the cloche and sleeves.
