Basic Skills Necessary:

  • knit, purl, increasing/decreasing, grafting

Pattern Description:

A light rectangle scarf or wrap in two sizes (petite, tall) featuring an easy-to-work stitch pattern with a rolling cadence. Garment is knit in two pieces and grafted at center back for symmetry. Works well with rustic or handspun yarns and tonal variegated colorways. Knit in a repeating allover motif that is easily learned, this piece works up quickly, travels well, and can be resized by adding/subtracting repeats or worked in a different gauge by changing yarn weight and needles.

Gauge:

18 sts and 24 rows = 4 inches in stockinette (unstretched, unblocked)

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • 12(18, 24) inches wide x 54(72, 84) inches long (stretched and blocked)

Materials:

  • 350(850, 1200) yards of any soft fingering/sport yarn with approximately 500 yards per 4 ounces
  • size 7US (4.0 mm) needle or size to obtan correct gauge
