Heartswing Shawl is versatile and easy to wear, gracing your shoulders for a night out or casually worn like a scarf. The knitting begins from the top, with a section of Stockinette punctuated by radiating lines of yarn-overs. Beautiful Estonian lace, Wave Stitch and Crows Feet make up the main body, they are both fairly simple to memorize and all the action happens on the right side. A few rows of Garter Stitch followed by a decorative and stretchy bind off finish the piece. The pattern is written line by line and also charted.
22 sts and 33 rows = 4" / 10 cm in Crows Feet pattern (blocked)

I Love knitting, crochet and embroidery! I've been designing hand knit creations since my eyelet skirt pattern was published in knitty way back in the summer of 2003. Since then my designs have been featured in Interweave Knits, KnitScene, Twist Collective and in a variety of knitting books. I'm the author of Boho Baby Knits (Potter Craft 2007).
