Pattern Description:
Create a place of refuge and shelter yourself from the elements with this fun hooded scarf. Haven features two twisted cables of differing widths on a background of garter stitch. It is knit flat with simple shaping and
minimal seaming to form the hood.
Gauge:
12 sts and 16 rows = 4in/10cm in stockinette stitch.
Materials:
- US 11/8mm needle or size needed to obtain gauge.
- 1 double pointed needle in same size used to knit pattern.
- 4 stitch markers
- Tapestry needle
- 3 skeins Knit Picks Biggo (50% superwash merino wool, 50% nylon; 110yd/100m to 100g/3.7oz).
Suggested yarn:
330 yards of Bulky weight

I don't think I'd be here without a nod to my late Grammy Gene who always had her knitting needles and project bag at her side. While our styles may differ the drive to knit now bonds us. Always busy, always knitting. Because I can't help myself.
