Pattern Description:

Lace work and beading adorn this elegant capelet. Knit using short rows, the lace pattern is seamless from wedge to wedge and the sizing is completely adjustable with very little effort. Silk and merino create the perfect drape and warmth.


21 sts and 28 rows to 4 ins in St st

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • S(L) Small- 11 1/4 ins circumference at neck edge & 61 1/2 ins circumference at outer edge x 13 1/2 ins
  • Large- 18 3/4 ins circumference at neck edge & 76 ins circumference at outer edge x 15 1/2 ins high
  • To fit bust:30-38(39-52) ins.


  • 3(5) skeins Malabrigo Silky Merino (50% merino wool, 50% silk) (150 yds/50 g) #76 Manzanilla Olive
  • 1 24" circular needle, size US 7 (4.5mm)
  • Crochet Hook for Beading - Size 11 or 12

You Will Also Need:

  • ~520 (560) Size 6 Seed Beads * Pattern uses beads from www.beadwrangler.com- Color #752
  • Tapestry Needle
  • 1/2 in wide ribbon, 36 ins long (trim as needed)
