Pattern Description:
Haruni is a triangular shawl, worked from the top down, with a chain bind off, worked with your knitting needles - no need for a crochet hook! You can easily adjust the size of this shawl by knitting more or less repeats of the first chart. Pattern includes charts, written directions, and extensive notes.
This pattern is intended to be opened using Adobe Reader v. 6 or later. Mac users please note that this file may not open properly with Preview. Please make sure you use Adobe Reader.
Gauge:
24 stitches and 32 rows = 4" (10cm) in pattern after blocking
Sizing / Finished Measurements:
- 23" (58cm) deep, 45" (114cm) wingspan
Materials:
- 480 yards Sock yarn
- US size 4 (3.5 mm) circular needle

- Stitch markers
- blocking pins or wires
- crochet hook

Wonderful pattern for take-along knitting. It was easy to follow and remember repeats. If I make it again, I will add more repeats to the body section, to make it a bit deeper.

Easy, well-written pattern. Perfect for a first attempt at knitting a shawl. My only complaint is that I needed a lot more wool than stated in the pattern.

Wanda LLThis is a very nice sized shawl, just big enough that you can wear it a lot of different ways and in a lot of different places, but not so big that it gets in the way, say, at the office. The lace pattern is wonderful - when I put it out to block, I was amazed at how lovely it is.

I loved this project! My first full size shawl! The pattern is explained beautifully, and having both the row by row explanation + schematic worked wonders whenever I got confused…
This is the first time i did not have to frog lace because of mistakes!!! I completed the shawl in 4 days, knitting only in my spare moments…(not many with 3 little kids!)

Kathie PerkinsI would love to make this, but the pattern notes are almost completely blank. I upgraded my Adobe software and still can't see it. Any ideas?
