Hallam is a simple to knit scarf with lots of personality. Worked from side to side, the seed stitch body is shaped with short rows for a gentle curve that wraps around your neck. Beginner-friendly lace edges one side. Easy to adjust for a variety of yarns and gauges. Shown in Long.

US 9 / 5.5mm circular needles, 32" / 80cm or longer
Shown in Alisha Goes Around Panoply (of Peacocks) Worsted (80% fine superwash merino wool, 10% cashmere, 10% nylon; 200 yds / 183m per 4 oz / 115g skein), 2 skeins.
Worsted weight yarn is knit quite loosely for a drapey fabric. Please note that superwash wools, alpaca and silk especially will stretch and relax quite a bit when soaked.
