Basic Skills Necessary:

  • Stranded Knitting
  • Knit
  • Purl
  • Knit Increase
  • Knit Decrease
  • Able to follow a chart

Pattern Description:

Hufflepuff pride is easy to display with this eye-catching mitt pattern.

Knit in yellow and black, with a stranded checker board center framing the strong and proud "H", they're a classy way to show where your loyalties lie.

This pattern is a little tricky, but is a good introduction to stranded knitting. Just make sure to leave plenty of give in the strands, to allow for stretching, and you should be just fine!


5 stitches and 6 rounds per inch (2.54cm)

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Women's Medium


  • 1 skein Caron Simply Soft in Sunshine
  • 1 skein Caron simply Soft in Black
  • 1 set of US5 (3.75 mm) DPNs

You Will Also Need:
