Pattern Description:

"Let us be grateful to the people who make us happy; they are the charming gardeners who make
our true selves blossom." -Marcel Proust
This quote was, in part, inspiration for the design of Gratitude.
It is a semi-circle lace weight shawl knit on 3.5mm or 3.75mm needles, incorporating Haapsula motif. It can be knit in lace or fingering weight yarn.

Gauge:

19 sts x 23 rows = 4"
Gauge is not crucial to this project, but I tend to be a loose knitter , reflected in yardage used and finished size.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • ~ 60" x 25 "

Materials:

  • 3.5mm or 3.75mm (24" or longer) circular knitting needles

Suggested yarn:

800 yards of Lace weight
