Pattern Description:

My husband's Aunt had been looking for a knitted monkey infant hat pattern for her soon-to-be-born grandson that featured little arms that hugged onto the infant's head. Having been unable to find anything I offered to design one for her instead. The outcome I have to admit is SUPER adorable, and so I'm so glad she brought it up, and I'm glad I was in a position to offer.

Infant through Child sizes are worked in Worsted/Aran weight yarns on 4mm/US6 needles. Adult sizes are worked in Bulky/Super Bulky weight yarn on 6mm/US10 needles.

Required Yardage spans from 100yards in Worsted/Aran for Infant size to 230 yards in Bulky/Super Bulky for Large Adult.

Pattern includes instructions on how to convert this hat to a Sock Monkey (including intarsia charts for the lips), a Brown Bear, a Panda and a Hippo.

30+, designer, compulsive run-on-sentencer, allergic to consuming dinosaurs.

Nett is a rambling teal dear with a lot to say and not a lot of time to say it in. Her design is a mish mash of inspirations though one would definitely say she has a recognisable ‘nettness’ about her work.

She’s Australian, ridiculously upbeat, nice and is very ALL or NOTHING when it comes to her tastes. If ...
