Pattern Description:

There are many things in life to love and often no reason to hold back. Sometimes the things we love are intricate, other times it(tm)s simplicity that attracts. Here, I show my love for garter stitch.

Garter Love is a shawl that is somewhat more than half a circle with hearts spread on a garter body. Requiring approximately 400-560 meters of yarn, use needle size that gives you a nice lacy effect. 4 stitch markers are recommended to help you keep track of the sections.

Blocked size: 100 x 50 cm (40 x 20 inches).
Gauge: 16 stitches in 10 cm garter stitch.

Turquoise shawl used 110g Malabrigo Sock in Solis 100% Merino, 440 yd/402 m per 100g on 4 mm (US 6) needles.
Blocked size: 92 x 46 cm (36 x 18 inches).
Gauge: 17 stitches in 10 cm garter stitch.
