Basic Skills Necessary:

  • You should already know how to use a cable needle.
  • You should already know how to knit in the round using double pointed needles.

Pattern Description:

This design was inspired by my beautiful niece who lives in Minnesota. She asked for leg warmers since she is a dancer. She wanted them warm and chunky. So, I thought "What could be better than a cabled sweater for your legs?"

The legwarmers themselves have a great stretch to them. They will fit up to an XL leg comfortably. Beyond that size you will lose the "slouch".

This pattern uses cute, chunky cables that are very simple, and would be a nice challenge for the beginner cable knitter.

You are welcome to sell any item made from my pattern, just not the pattern itself. If you do make it, I would love to hear from you! :)
