Furlough is a cuff-down sock in two adult sizes with patterned heel flap and French toe that does not require grafting. The two socks are asymmetrical, featuring a staghorn cable and rib pattern on the first sock and a reverse staghorn cable and rib on the second. These socks will benefit from blocking as the pattern draws in significantly. The design is equally suitable for a man or woman.
This pattern was originally published in Knitcircus Magazine #15, Fall 2011.
