Pattern Description:

VERY EASY - This furry hat and loop scarf is worked in garter stitch in 'fur' yarn.

The hat is in six sizes to fit tots (and maybe a favorite doll), children, and adults.

The loop scarf may be worn twice around the neck for extra warmth or with one loop over the head on really cold days.


In garter st, 6 sts and 10 rows = 2" (5cm).

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • LOOP SCARF - 50" (127cm) in circumference
  • HAT (head circumference): 12" (30.5cm) to 22" (56cm)


  • Yarn: 'Fur' or chunky to match gauge, 350 yds (320m) for loop scarf, 15yds (14m) - 66 yds (60m) for hat
  • Knitting needle: Size 10.5 (6.5mm) or size to obtain gauge and optional size 15 (10mm) needle for BO

You Will Also Need:

  • Tapestry needle (blunt point) for finishing
  • Stitch markers
