I love fingerless mitts as you can still use your fingers for certain tasks such as using a phone. I also really love FairIsle at the moment but didn't want the pattern to be too complicated for an inexperienced knitter.
These mitts follow a fairly simple shaping and the FairIsle parts accent the mitts to add interest.
30sts to 10cm/4"

I have recently started designing a few things myself, so far a cowl, hat and socks.
I also like growing my own fruit and veg - on a small scale in the garden at the moment.
I'm married to a lovely Irishman and we have a silly Golden Labrador who keeps us on our toes.
